While panic buyers lug around heavy trolleys of tinned foods and toilet paper, one Hobart man is walking the streets with his trusty upright piano. Contemporary classical pianist Kelvin Smith said people’s expressions were priceless when they spotted him dragging a piano down the pavement. Since the coronavirus outbreak hit Tasmania, he said he had shifted his piano to 15 different outdoor spots to serenade the locals.
